Estimating Hair Transplant Cost

Are you bald and want to look perfect like before? Of course you can ... you can consider doing a hair transplant. But the important thing to consider is the cost. How much does it cost? Hundreds of dollars or thousands of dollars? Actually there is no definite price for a hair transplant, because it all depends on several things.

First, the type of surgery
Currently there are two methods of hair transplant. FUT and FUE. FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) seem to be chosen more for reducing cost and time reasons. This method of is done by cutting a strip from the back of your head, then the hair was taken from the strip. Strand after strand of hair transplanted into the bald area on your head. This method greatly saves time because you'll get a lot of hair grafts per session surgery and provide quick results. In addition, surgery cost is relatively cheaper.

The second method is the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction). This is the latest method in which the hair is harvested one by one out of your head and then implanted in the bald area on your head. Of course this requires a long time and consequently the surgery cost is more expensive, maybe double the surgery cost using FUT method.

Second, the number of grafts needed
If your baldness is very severe, covering large areas, of course, this will result in the increasing number of transplanted hair on your bald area. Sure the price will be more expensive, because the surgeon would cost you  upon the amount of hair transplanted onto your head.

Third, the number of sessions required
In general, transplant surgery can be performed in a single session. However, in certain circumstances, such as wide area baldness, covering almost the whole of your head, then it may take more than one surgery session. This results in more expensive surgery cost.

Finally, the level of expertise of the surgeon.This is reasonable when a more skilled surgeon charge a few cents little bit more expensive to a strand of hair than those who are less skilled. But, you better spend a little more expensive costs with satisfactory results than you save money but end up in disappointment.
